Should other representative matches by representative West Indian teams be included?

[edit]

Was wondering if other matches by teams designated as representative West Indian teams (such as the Stanford Superstars and the West Indies XI in the unofficial T20s against Ireland and Canada in the ongoing Jamaica Cricket Festival) should be included? Gayle was captain for the Stanford Superstars in their match against England (which they won) and which would technically be an international since the Stanford Superstars were deemed to be a "representative" West Indies team. Darren Sammy is the captain for the West Indies XI in the unofficial T20s thus far in the Jamaica Cricket Festival with matches against Ireland (1 played and won so far) and Canada (1 played and won so far). Don't think these matches should be included in the T20 International section since these matches aren't T20Is but maybe in another section? 72.27.7.63 (talk) 00:02, 14 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Update. The West Indies XI captained by Darren Sammy during the Jamaica Cricket Festival in preparation for the World T20 played 4 T20s (1 against Canada and 3 against Ireland) and won all 4.72.27.208.224 (talk) 05:31, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why is this page now protected?

[edit]

I don't understand, why is this page now protected from anon edits? I checked the page history and there hasn't been an edit war, so why has it been protected?72.27.161.58 (talk) 16:45, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Flags...

[edit]

I recently emoved flags so the page would conform with the other national cricket captain articles which do not feature flags (not even the one for Australia where the flags for each state that a captain came from could have been inserted). Some of these other articles however do feature pictures of the captains, so perhaps we can insert those as they would be more relevant. 72.27.177.202 (talk) 23:21, 15 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
